Gamble House Rocking Chair
In the early 1900’s the Greene & Greene brothers built what is known as the Ultimate Bungalows. A series of homes where they designed every aspect of the house, from its design to its furniture and landscaping.
Only three of the Rocking Chairs for the main living room were originally built for the house.
Working with the museum, we were given access to photograph these chairs, and from those photos, we built a Rocking Chair for our client. The new chair was scaled up because the average height of an American has increased since the early 1900s.
